Schokland, the first Dutch World Heritage site becomes alive by use of sculptures and stories. On each 'terp' stands a pedestal containing a historic figure accompanied bij an animal. The historic inhabitants tell about their time on the former island of Schokland and why is was abandoned in the end. The animals tell the story about the current times and the future, how water management keeps the island level intact preserving the treasures hidden below your feet and, in the mean time, stimulating biodiversity. Kinkorn was responsible for concept, design and script.
